A picture says a thousand words.

Anyone who knows me, knows how proud of my heritage I am and where my family has come from. I am proud to be Seminole Indian with a mother who knows where she came from and aunts, uncles, and cousins still knowing the stories and elders who speak our language. With a father who isn't even part of our tribe who is like the native encyclopedia.

I was digging through some pics and i came across this one, and I couldn't help but just simply smile and be proud of my family (especially the women in my family).

This is a picture of my mom and cousins. They're holding up aprons and bible covers that my cousin Ryann sewed for them as christmas gifts. They LOVED them because my cousin is the next generation to accomplish this Seminole patch work.

3 Beautiful native american women that have taught me SO much! and one beautiful talented cousin who i'm proud of for keeping her traditions so she can teach our children.

Ironically today is my aunts funeral who was a splitting image of my grandma which is an honor to be. So heres to all the women in my family, be proud of who you are and what you've been taught.

Happy Monday<3
